There's nothing like a good fire for bringing people together

Our customers know what a good fire pit should look and feel like. Unfortunately, they've also had fire pits that have ended up rusting out in their backyard. Our mission is to make sure they never have a bad experience again.

Our history

Like many great stories, ours started with three brothers, a star-filled night, and a roaring campfire. Adrian, Eric, and Ken Tamminga shared a vision for a better outdoor fire pit designed for life in Canada. So, they created their first fire pit by hand. The family still uses it to this day!

2011

In the summer of 2011, the brothers established Iron Embers with the goal of sharing their passion with the world. They began by building heavy-duty fire pits out of their garage and were soon selling their wares at local farmers' markets. They signed their first distributor that summer and never looked back.

2021

Iron Embers celebrated several exciting milestones. 2021 marked 10 years of producing Canada's best fire pits and our move to a new shop in Guelph, Ontario. Our team continues to share our passion with customers across Canada and the US from our new, larger HQ.

Present

Iron Embers has grown from a small family-run operation to a leader in the premium outdoor fire pit community. Thousands of fire enthusiasts discover our community each year, inspiring us to continue pushing the limits. We're committed to launching innovative new products and have no plans to slow down.
